Evan is a happy 3 year old boy whose only wish this Christmas is to be able to walk like his friends. Evan was born 8 weeks early and was diagnosed at 18 months with Cerebral Palsy, which means he is unable to walk unaided and normal day to day tasks such as dressing are extremely challenging.
On 21 December 2010 Evan will have life changing surgery at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri which could make his wish come true. The surgery needs to be conducted quickly as Evan is also at risk of dislocating his hips. In only 6 weeks £40,000 needs to be raised to help make Evan’s wish come true – truly a mountain to climb.
22 December 2010. Between 21 October, when Evan was accepted for SDR and 21 December, when surgery was completed, over £65,000 has been raised.
